The Korean Journal of International Relations (KJIR)
is the official Korean-language journal of the Korean Association of International Studies (KAIS), which publishes top-level Korean articles and is representative of the Korean International Relations academic world. The KJIR has accumulated exceptional research contributions in the fields of International Relations, Foreign Policy, Comparative Politics, and Area Studies, and thereby has significantly influenced national policy and public opinion both within Korea and abroad. As a result, the KJIR has been selected as one of the three social science journals to receive the Excellent Accredited Journal certification by the Korean Citation Index (KCI) of the National Research Foundation of Korea, a feat which has been made possible by the academic achievements of the KAIS both within the Korean and global academia. The next KCI review is planned for 2023, and the KAIS will strive to continue the tradition of excellence.
